Introduction to Ultrasonic level transmitter

An device for measuring liquid or material level that is non-contact, highly reliable, affordable, and simple to install and maintain is the ultrasonic level transmitter. Without coming into touch with the measured medium, it may satisfy the majority of liquid level/level measurement needs. This is a new generation of ultrasonic level gauge that is our company's own property. A non-invasive and precise technique for determining the liquid and solid levels in tanks, vessels, and pipelines is ultrasonic level measuring. In order to measure a medium, this technology sends out high-frequency sound waves that pass through it and return to the sensor reflected back. The distance between the sensor and the medium's surface is ascertained by measuring the time it takes for sound waves to bounce back and forth. A digital signal processor subsequently processes this data to provide an accurate level reading. In situations where conventional level measurement methods would not be appropriate—such as corrosive or dangerous conditions.

Applications Ultrasonic level transmitter

Ultrasonic level transmitters are commonly used in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and water treatment to measure the level of liquids in tanks and vessels. They are also used in solids measurement applications to measure the level of materials such as powders and granules.

03

Features of Ultrasonic level transmitter

When there is no level and the sensor's output signal is not zero, this is known as zero error. Installing the sensor in a vessel without a liquid level and setting the output signal of the sensor to zero in the absence of a liquid level can remedy this issue. To proceed with the calibration, input the air temperature in the area where the sensor is situated.

Principle of Ultrasonic level transmitter

When an ultrasonic wave encounters a solid-liquid interface with varying densities, it is reflected, and the transmission time is calculated to determine the liquid’s level and distance. An ultrasonic level transmitter operates on the principle of sound wave reflection to measure the level of liquids or solids in tanks, vessels, and pipelines. It is a non-contact measurement device, making it ideal for applications where physical contact with the medium is not feasible, such as in corrosive, hazardous, or viscous substances.
