Introduction to Radar level transmitter

Products in the 76-81GHz series are frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radars that handle both two- and four-wire applications and operate at 76-81GHz. There are many variants available for this product, including a 120-meter range and an 8-centimeter blind zone. Solid applications benefit greatly from its shorter wavelength and greater operating frequency. The electromagnetic wave transmission and reception mechanism via the lens offers special benefits in conditions with a lot of dust and extreme heat (over 150°C). Principle of Radar level transmitter

The guided wave radar emits high-frequency microwave pulses that travel along steel rods or cables for detection. These pulses come into contact with the media to be measured, and because the mutation’s dielectric constant causes reflections, some of the pulse energy is reflected back. The relationship between the transmitted pulse and the reflected pulse depends on the measured media’s distance and time interval.
