WXP6300 industrial pH meter is an online pH analyzer which applied in chemical industry metallurgy, environment protection, food, agriculture and so on. With 4-20mA analog signal, RS-485 digital signal and relay output. Can be used for industrial processes and water treatment processes pH control, and support remote data transmission, etc.

ORP Measurement Basics For The Process Industry
The ability of a medium to oxidise or reduce another medium is measured by its “oxidaon-reducon potenal,” or ORP. When an oxidizer takes an electron from another molecule, it is said to be oxidising, and when a reducer gives an electron to another molecule, it is said to be reducing. A single mV value, which can be posive or negave, can be monitored by an ORP sensor to idenfy whether oxidaon or reducon is taking place. The mV value is posive when a medium is oxidising. The mV reading will be negave when it is displaying reducon. Addionally, an ORP measurement known as “Redox” is frequently used. Reducon and oxidaon are combined to form the word redox. Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) measures the ability of a lake or river to cleanse itself or break down waste products, such as contaminants and dead plants and animals. When the ORP value is high, there is lots of oxygen present in the water. This means that bacteria that decompose dead tissue and contaminants can work more efficiently. In general, the higher the ORP value, the healthier the lake or river is. However, even in healthy lakes and rivers, there is less oxygen (and therefore lower ORP values) as you get closer to the bottom sediments (mud; see the picture below of a lake bottom). This is because there are many bacteria working hard.

It also has excellent precision, quick reaction times, and strong repeatability.

Enter the ORP calibration screen, the first ORP electrode intothe86mV standard solution, standing for a moment, to be shown after the stability, press the ENT,

The principleof pH/ORPsensor measurement is electrochemical method and galvanic battery principle. The primary battery is a system whose function is to turn chemical energy into electrical energy. The voltage of this battery is called electromotive force (EMF) which ismade up of 2half-cells, of which one is called ameasuring cell whose potential is related to specific ionic activity; the other is a reference half-cell, commonly known as a reference sensor, which is generally interlinked with the measuring solution and is connected to the measuring instrument.The potential difference produced by the galvanic interaction inside the sensor is transmitted to the pH controller, and the corresponding algorithm is transmitted to display the pH value.
