Hydrostatic Level Transmitter

Hydrostatic Level Transmitter
062P

Features

Series underwater level meters have a typical accuracy of 0.5%FS and can detect water level, well depth, groundwater level, and other variables. They are fully sealed to withstand submersion in liquid. They can also provide voltage or 4–20mA output signals.

Introduction to Submersible level meter

Using a high-performance diffused silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor as the measuring element, the submersible liquid level transmitter establishes a linear correspondence between the output signal and the liquid depth and realizes the measurement of the liquid depth. The sensor accurately measures the hydrostatic pressure proportional to the liquid level depth and converts it into a standard (current, voltage, RS485) signal output through a signal conditioning circuit.A submersible level meter, also known as a submersible level transmitter or hydrostatic level sensor, is a device designed to measure the level of a liquid in a tank, well, or body of water. These meters are particularly useful for applications where the level needs to be measured from the bottom of a container or water body.Submersible level meters operate based on the principle of hydrostatic pressure. The sensor is submerged in the liquid, and it measures the pressure exerted by the liquid column above it.

Uses of submersible level
meter

Non-Intrusive Measurement: Submersible level meters are placed at the bottom of the tank or water body, making them ideal for applications where the surface is turbulent or has obstructions. Long-Term Reliability: Designed for continuous operation in harsh environments with minimal maintenance.

03

Applications of submersible level meter

Water and Wastewater Management Groundwater Monitoring: Measuring levels in wells and boreholes for water resource management. Reservoirs and Dams: Monitoring water levels for flood control and irrigation management. Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Principle of Submersible level meter

A submersible level meter, also known as a hydrostatic level transmitter, operates on the principle of hydrostatic pressure measurement to determine liquid levels in tanks, wells, and open water bodies. When the sensor is submerged in a liquid, it measures the pressure exerted by the liquid column above it. This pressure is directly proportional to the height of the liquid and is accurately detected using a high-performance diffused silicon piezoresistive sensor.
Submersible level meters are designed for continuous and reliable operation in various industrial environments. Their non-intrusive installation at the bottom of tanks or water bodies makes them particularly suitable for applications where the surface is turbulent, foamy, or obstructed. With a sealed and corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction, these sensors are capable of withstanding harsh conditions, ensuring long-term durability and minimal maintenance.

Applications

Heating and Cooling Reactors

Heating and cooling reactors are crucial components in various industrial processes, particularly in chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. These reactors are used for carrying out reactions under controlled temperature conditions.

Disinfecting and
Sterilizing

Disinfection and sterilization are critical processes across various industries, particularly in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and biotechnology. These applications ensure the elimination of harmful microorganisms.

Waste Heat Recovery Boilers

Waste heat recovery boilers are essential components in industries where significant amounts of heat are generated during various processes but are typically wasted. These boilers capture this waste heat and convert it into useful energy, thereby improving.

Dyeing WasteWater

Treatment of highly coloured wastewater containing a variety of dyes in varying quantities is a major component of wastewater treatment in the textile and dye industry. The flow of dye into the interior of the fibre as well as the interaction between a dye .

Exhaust Gas Treatment

Exhaust gas treatment systems (EGTS), also referred to as SOX scrubbers, are an alternative to these solutions that clean the exhaust gas in order to reduce SOX emissions to a level that is equivalent to the acceptable fuel sulphur
content.

Fertigation System

Fertigation is the process of injecting fertilisers into an irrigation system for the purpose of amending the soil, the water, and other water-soluble goods. Adding chemicals to an irrigation system is known as chemigation, which is connected to fertigation.
