Features

Overview The best option for gauging tap water flow is the  electronic water meter. This kind of flow meter measures the flow using electromagnetic induction and Faraday’s law.

01

Electronic Water Meter for flow measurement

An electronic water meter is devoid of any moving parts, bearings, or gears or turbines that rotate. Rather, the density of the induced magnetic field created by an electrically conducting fluid, like water, passing through a pipe, is measured using two electrodes. Therefore, there is no vulnerability to mechanical wear and tear or bearing wear.To enable the meter to function with a range of water conditions, several materials can be employed to produce the electrodes and liner used in electronic water meters. The measured fluid medium must be electrically conductive (>5μS/cm) in order for the electronic water meter to function. This is the sole restriction. Oil and other petroleum-based fluids are examples of non-conductive fluids that cannot be tested with this method. An electronic water meter is a device designed to measure the flow of water through a system electronically. These meters are commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications to monitor water usage and ensure accurate billing.electronic water meters offer significant advantages over traditional mechanical meters, providing precise measurements, remote monitoring, and enhanced data analysis capabilities.

Reliable Electromagnetic Flow Meter Guide

Electromagnetic flow meters detect flow by using Faraday's Law of induction. Inside an electromagnetic flow meter, there is an electromagnetic coil that generates a magnetic field, and electrodes that capture electromotive force(voltage).

03

Electromagnetic Flow Meter Calibration

Flow meters are calibrated by comparing and adjusting their metering to correspond with a predefined standard. Flow meter manufacturers typically calibrate their products in-house after production or send them to an independent calibration facility for adjustment

Principle Electronic Water Meter for flow measurement

Based on Faraday’s law, a mag meter generates the electromotive E that is proportional to the flow speed v when the liquid passes through a pipe with a diameter of D at a flow rate of v. Within the pipe, an exciting coil creates a magnetic flux density of B.

Applications

Heating and Cooling Reactors

Chemical processing often runs in a cyclic phase. Chemical reactors must go through phases where they must be heated and phases where they must be cooled

Disinfecting and Sterilizing

To guarantee the high quality and accuracy of the chemical components, chemical processing necessitates, in addition to the heating and cooling of reactors

Waste Heat Recovery Boilers

Heat Exchanger: Transfers heat from the waste gases to water, converting it into steam. Economizer: Preheats the feedwater before it enters the boiler, increasing efficiency.

Dyeing WasteWater

Treatment of highly coloured wastewater containing a variety of dyes in varying quantities is a major component of wastewater treatment in the textile and dye industry. The flow of dye into the interior of the fibre as well as the interaction between a dye .

Exhaust Gas Treatment

Exhaust gas treatment systems (EGTS), also referred to as SOX scrubbers, are an alternative to these solutions that clean the exhaust gas in order to reduce SOX emissions to a level that is equivalent to the acceptable fuel sulphur content.

Fertigation System

Fertigation is the process of injecting fertilisers into an irrigation system for the purpose of amending the soil, the water, and other water-soluble goods. Adding chemicals to an irrigation system is known as chemigation, which is connected to fertigation.
