Electromagnetic Flow Meter

Electromagnetic Flow Meter
WXEFL Series

Features

Liquid velocity is measured using magnetic flow meters using the concept of Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction. Magnetic flowmeters detect the velocity of conductive liquids in pipes, such as water, acids, caustic, and slurries, in accordance with Faraday’s Law. The water and wastewater sector, chemicals, food and beverage, power, pulp and paper, metals and mining, and pharmaceutical applications are the industries that employ magnetic flowmeters in that order of use.

01

Electromagnetic Flow Meter with Carbon Steel Body

Electromagnetic flow meter does not contain any moving parts, rotating gears or turbines, or bearings. Instead, it relies on two electrodes to measure the density of the induced magnetic field that results from an electrically conductive fluid, such as water, flowing through a pipe. So there is nonsusceptibility to bearing wear or other mechanical wear-and-tear issues. As for the electrodes and the liner used in electromagnetic flow meter, these components can be fabricated from a variety of materials to make the mag meter compatible with virtually various electrically conductive fluid, including aggressive acids. The only limitation of the electromagnetic flow meter is that the measured fluid media must be electrically conductive e (> 5μS/cm). Non-conductive fluids, such as oil and other petroleum-based fluids, cannot be measured with mag meter technology. revolutionary data storage enables transmitter interchange and commissioning without the need for re-configuration. self-calibrating transmitter with ultra-low temperature. Through-the-Glass' (TTG) configuration eliminating the need to remove the cover. smart key based functionality.

Application of Electromagnetic Flow Meter

Water and Wastewater Treatment: Measure flow rates in water distribution and sewage systems. Chemical Industry: Monitor the flow of corrosive and conductive liquids. Food & Beverage: Measure flow in pipelines for beverages, dairy products, and other conductive fluids. Pharmaceuticals: Ensure accurate flow measurement in the production of liquid medicines. Mining: Monitor slurry flows in ore processing operations.

Uses of Electromagnetic Flow Meter

Water and wastewater systems Chemical processes Food and beverage production Pharmaceutical manufacturing Mining and slurry handling Pulp and paper industriesAn electromagnetic flow meter must be calibrated in order for its readings to continue being precise, dependable, and compatible with industry standards, protecting the efficiency and quality of the process. The flow rate of conductive fluids in pipes is measured.

Principle Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The measurement principle of magnetic  flowmeters can be described as follows: when the liquid goes through the pipe at the flow rate of v with a diameter D, within which a magnetic flux density of B is created by an exciting coil, the following electromotive E is generated in proportion to flow speed v.

Applications

Heating and Cooling Reactors

Heating and cooling reactors are crucial components in various industrial processes, particularly in chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. These reactors are used for carrying out reactions under controlled temperature conditions.

Disinfecting and
Sterilizing

Disinfection and sterilization are critical processes across various industries, particularly in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and biotechnology. These applications ensure the elimination of harmful microorganisms.

Waste Heat Recovery Boilers

Waste heat recovery boilers are essential components in industries where significant amounts of heat are generated during various processes but are typically wasted. These boilers capture this waste heat and convert it into useful energy, thereby improving.

Dyeing WasteWater

Treatment of highly coloured wastewater containing a variety of dyes in varying quantities is a major component of wastewater treatment in the textile and dye industry. The flow of dye into the interior of the fibre as well as the interaction between a dye .

Exhaust Gas Treatment

Exhaust gas treatment systems (EGTS), also referred to as SOX scrubbers, are an alternative to these solutions that clean the exhaust gas in order to reduce SOX emissions to a level that is equivalent to the acceptable fuel sulphur
content.

Fertigation System

Fertigation is the process of injecting fertilisers into an irrigation system for the purpose of amending the soil, the water, and other water-soluble goods. Adding chemicals to an irrigation system is known as chemigation, which is connected to fertigation.
