Introduction to Differential Pressure transmitter
A Wellkonix Differential Pressure Transmitter, or DP transmitter for short, is a kind of electrical device used to monitor the difference in pressure between two sites in a fluid system in industrial and process control applications. In essence, it measures the difference in pressure between two points in a process and outputs an electrical signal. Two pressure sensing devices (such as diaphragms or Bourdon tubes) are usually included in DP transmitters. These elements are exposed to the process fluid at the two separate locations where the pressure is to be monitored. Measurement of Pressure Difference: The two sensing components experience varying pressures from the fluid as it passes through the system. The pressure differential between these two places is measured by the DP transmitter. Transducer and Electrical Output: Next, a transducer (often a strain gauge) within the DP transmitter transforms the pressure differential into an electrical signal. The pressure differential is proportional to this electrical signal.Signal Transmission: Next, a control system, data collecting system, or further monitoring devices receive the electrical signal. The information about pressure can be sent via digital protocols like Foundation Fieldbus or HART, or analog signals like 4-20 mA.A Differential Pressure Transmitter is a device used to measure the difference in pressure between two points in a system. It is commonly used in various industrial applications, such as monitoring and controlling processes in chemical plants, oil refineries, power generation, and HVAC systems.

Applications of Differential Pressure transmitter
DP transmitters are typically made for measuring differential pressure, as their name implies. They are employed in many different applications where it is necessary to monitor the pressure differential between two places, such monitoring pressure decreases in filters, heat exchangers, and pumps.

Use Differential Pressure transmitter
The ideal measurement medium is. It is necessary to empty the guiding pipe if the medium is liquid. It is important to make sure that the pressure pipe arrangement permits the observed bubbles in the liquid or gas measured sediments to return to the process pipework. 6. Leaks in process pipes must not exist.
Principle of Differential Pressure transmitter
The main unit functions as follows and has a sensor and process connection. The process medium is delivered to the measurable silicon pressure chip through a flexible, corrosion-resistant isolation diaphragm, and fill fluid pressure is applied. A chip termination that is either linked to vacuum (for an absolute pressure measurement) or the atmosphere (for a gauge pressure measurement). The output voltage of the detecting system varies as a result of the silicon chip of the sensor changing in resistance as the measured pressure passes through the measuring diaphragm and the filling liquid. The change in pressure is proportionate to this output voltage. The output is converted by the amplifier and adaptor unit into a standardized signal output.
